Getting better acquainted with the NLI

Today’s a slow start as I’m preparing to head up to Dublin this evening to help one of my fellow research students with cutting through the copious amounts of research on the A Vision book. I’m not as yet sure what we’ll be looking at as I’m still acclimatizing to it all but thankfully I have a very supportive supervisor and the two PhD students working with me have been at this for some time and are warm and friendly and including me in as much as possible.

This is in fact my second trip up to the National Library of Ireland, the first was filled with nervousness as I wasn’t sure what the procedure was but I have to say that the NLI staff’s reputation as very helpful and supportive is well earned. So far so good.

I will write more as time and discoveries promit me to.
